Light snow is falling in the west, and northern winds are creating wintry conditions and a raw day for most of us in South Dakota.

On Tuesday, the Iowa State Patrol warned motorists to slow down and allow room for plow crews after a significant crash on a major road.

Many communities in southeast South Dakota have snow alerts issued as street crews have been out clearing the roads from snow.
