Many communities in southeast South Dakota have snow alerts issued as street crews have been out clearing the roads from snow.

Some places in north-central South Dakota saw snowfall amounts of over a half foot during a February snow event.

The lovely stretch of mild weather is expected to end at the start of the work week as a clipper system will push into the region.
