A complex of thunderstorms traveling along the Missouri River on Sunday afternoon eventually produced a tornado near Mobridge, South Dakota, causing damage.

Thursday afternoon and overnight thunderstorms have resulted in a variety of severe weather conditions throughout eastern South Dakota.

On Tuesday evening, thunderstorms struck the northeastern part of South Dakota, bringing a tornado report, large hail, and winds reaching hurricane force.

During July 28th's severe weather outbreak, the Sioux Falls National Weather Service confirmed three tornado touchdowns in south-central South Dakota.

A tornado near Henry, South Dakota, was given an EF2 rating by the National Weather Service.
