The South Dakota Department of Transportation has posted no travel advisories on many secondary roadways in the northeast region of South Dakota this Wednesday morning. Interstate 29 from Watertown to North Dakota remains shut down, and a Blizzard Warning remains in effect through mid-morning.

Conditions on Interstate 29 from Watertown to Brookings are not good, with visibility less than one-eighth of a mile, and a no-travel advisory is in place. To the south of Brookings, the Interstate is very slippery, with snow covered and ice with reduced visibilities reported.
The central and western regions of the state are mainly free and clear, besides a few locations in the northwest, South Dakota, and into the northern Black Hills.
