Both the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) are kicking off the March tournament season with their own tournament.
The SDDOT and NDDOT are competing for the official title of Battle of the Blades Champion, with first-round voting ending today. Voters will vote on different rounds on plow names in different brackets until the top winner from both states is decided. Then, the top winners from NDDOT and SDDOT will go head to head, and only one will become the winner of the battle of the blades.
Voting Schedule:
First Round (Thursday, March 20 – Friday, March 21)
Second Round (Saturday, March 22 – Sunday, March 23)
Snowy Sixteen (Thursday, March 27 – Friday, March 28)
Abominable Eight (Saturday, March 29 – Sunday, March 30)
Frosty Four (Saturday, April 5 – Sunday, April 6)
Championship (Monday, April 7)
