Forecast models continue to bring precipitation into South Dakota for Monday and then continued chances through parts of the work week. Before then, today brings mostly sunny skies with temperatures reaching the 50s and a few 40s in the Black Hills.
Breezy for those in the southwest, with a few locations seeing gusts up to 35 to 50mph out of the southwest.
By Monday afternoon, light to moderate rain will spread into the eastern half of the state and continue into Monday night. Into Tuesday, there are some model disagreements between the American (GFS) and the Euro (ECMWF) on whether to keep precipitation in the area long or not, which will impact any light snow chances. Stay
toned.
