People are waking up to areas of freezing fog in west-central South Dakota this Sunday morning as the National Weather Service has a few counties on the plains under a Freezing Fog Advisory until noon.
Some reports have come in that the fog has reduced visibility to one-quarter of a mile at times. These conditions have the potential to create frosty roads and bridges making them slippery and hazardous for travelers.
If you are planning on driving today, remember to slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
