A morning severe thunderstorm dropped hail the size of golf balls (1.75") on the northwest part of the city.
At around 6:23 am, the National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the city and surrounding areas as the thunderstorm quickly developed into the severe storm limits.
After dropping the hail, the storm continued its track eastward along US Highway 212 towards Kranzburg and Goodwin.
