A system to our north brought a band of light snow to the northern counties of South Dakota during the overnight hours. According to the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT), many north-central and northeast roads have scattered snow spots. In the Mobridge and Selby areas, the roads are reported mainly slippery, with much of the road covered in snow. For the latest road conditions, check out sd511.org.

A couple of inches of snow is expected with this system. Please visit our Weather Maps page for the latest snowfall forecast from the weather models.
