October has not felt like October, and above-normal temperatures are expected to continue through at least the first half of the month.
This week, temperatures look to return to the 80s for the middle of the work week, with a few places in South Dakota getting close to record territory. By this weekend, temperatures look to drop back to more fall-like weather.
Dry conditions look to continue as weather models still show little or no precipitation for the next ten days.
