Milton becomes a hurricane on Sunday with maximum sustained winds of 85mph at the 4:00 pm CDT advisory.
The hurricane's center was located at 22.4 N and 93.8 W, moving to the east at seven mph. Milton is forecast to strengthen quickly and will be a major hurricane by Monday afternoon as it continues its track towards Florida.

Hurricane Milton is forecast to impact Florida by midweek and is highly likely to be a category three or four hurricane status.
