As we move more into the workweek, a few weak disturbances may bring a chance of precipitation in the form of rain or snow. At this time, precipitation will be limited and looks to remain in the northern and eastern regions of the state.
Starting on Tuesday, a disturbance looks to bring a slight chance of the late-night and early morning precipitation to the northeast, South Dakota. The rest of the state looks to be dry with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.
Then on Wednesday, a little more of the region could see chances of rain or snow as another weak disturbance makes its way through.
This chance of rain or snow continues across the north and east on Thursday as well. There are limited amounts of moisture in these chances of precipitation and amounts look to be light.
By this weekend, a better chance of widespread and accumulating precipitation is in the forecast.
