It's basically hot in the southeast, with record high temperatures today into the 80s and a few isolated 90s. Yes, you read that right—highs into the 90s! It's cooler in the north and west but still above average, with highs ranging from the mid-50s near the North Dakota / South Dakota state line to the mid-70s.




Winds from 5 to 15mph with gusts up to 30mph and be out of the south to southeast changing to the northwest.




Precipitation moves into the area later on this evening and into the overnight hours. These chances continue into Saturday.
