Snow for the Weekend

Chances of snow return to the picture later today and continue through the weekend with generally three to six inches of snow possible for those in the advisories area. Winter Weather Advisories have been issued by the National Weather Service from the northwest and spreading southward.

Expect chances of snow this afternoon in the west and then start to spread in coverage across the west as we move into the overnight hours.

On Saturday, the chances of snow will move into the southeast and continue for those in the west. Snowfall is expected to continue through Saturday night across central and western regions of the state. The northeast is expected to see very little or nothing as dry air from the northeast will keep snow chances down to a minimum.

Snow across the west will start to come to an end by late Sunday morning, giving way to the chilly weather.
