Snow showers over western and central South Dakota have created a few road issues during Sunday afternoon.
The South Dakota Department of Transportation's website SD511 reported scattered slippery spots across the southwest and back up towards the Philip and Hayes areas. Interstate 90 from Rapid City to Belvidere was reporting the same conditions, and in Jackson County, the sheriff's office warned motorists that the roads are starting to deteriorate.
These snow showers will continue eastward, bringing light snow chances for the northeast and a wintry mixture in the southeast. Snow amounts will be minor, but a few locations in the northeast may see an inch or two back Monday morning.
