Warmer temperatures are in store for Saturday. Afternoon highs will reach the 50s and 60s, with a few locations in south-central South Dakota, possibly reaching the lower 70s.
A pass cold front will bring chances for afternoon thunderstorms in the west with rain or snow showers across the Black Hills. Chances for rain showers then move into central and eastern SD by this evening.
South winds from 10 to 20mph with gusts up to 35mph. Red Flag Warnings for extreme fire danger is up for the south-central region of the state.
