As of Monday morning, there are increasing chances for snow to impact the region on Wednesday (Valentine's Day).
The best risk for accumulating snow looks to be between Interstate 90 and US Highway 14 as an area of snow will expand across the region. Snow amounts of one to two inches are possible in those areas with lesser amounts north and south.
The snow will start in western, South Dakota during the early morning hours on Wednesday and continue eastward throughout the day. The snow will exit the state sometime after midnight on Wednesday night.
