This coming work week will be busy in the weather department as two rounds of significant snows are in the forecast.

A foot of snow was recorded in a few isolated spots in South Dakota, as well as other heavier amounts.

We have finally moved into a dry period allowing people to dig out from the latest winter storm that brought over two feet of snow.

Heavy snowfall totals of over two feet have occurred in south-central and southeast, South Dakota.

A strong storm system remains on track to impact South Dakota starting today and continue into Monday and parts of Tuesday.
