A chilly start for the morning hours on Wednesday, with temperatures ranging from the 20s to 30s around 6:00am CDT.

For those in the north and east, temperatures are expected to drop to or below freezing tonight.

Earlier this week, the National Weather Service in Aberdeen announced the end of the growing season, even though many of us have not experienced a hard freeze.

It is hard to believe that snow has fallen in a few locations in South Dakota when temperatures last week were into the 80s and 90s.
